When you install a new ConfigMgr 2012 site, you should always use the latest supported SQL Service Pack and Cumulative update, and I just noticed that Cumulative update package 6 for SQL Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1, has been released. The build number of this cumulative update package is 10.50.2811.0.
