Introduction Installing this service pack is very similar to previous service packs and CU updates but there are a few things you should be aware of. In this blog post, I’ll walk you through the upgrade process step-by-step in a SCCM 2012 R2 standalone primary scenario. As always, you should start by checking the health of the system, verify the backup, etc. At a minimum, you should check the following: Install any missing updates (security, critical and important). Microsoft TechEd North America 2013 in New Orleans has kicked off, and the sessions has started to show up on Channel 9, where most sessions and PowerPoint slides will be available 24 hours after the presentation. I’ve just watched the WCA-B328 Microsoft System Center 2012 SP1 – Configuration Manager Overview session by Jason Adams and Dilip Radhakrishnan. Microsoft said on Monday that it plans to introduce Windows Intune on March 23. The company plans to release a 30-day trial version in more than 35 countries on March 23.
