Last week I had the great honor to speak at two Microsoft Next events in Århus and Copenhagen. Microsoft Next is the main launch event in Denmark, for the new Windows versions and the System Center 2012 R2 wave, so many customers, partners and most of the danish press, was attending the keynote, ready to hear what Microsoft and some on the solution partners had to offer with all these new technologies available…

My presentations was two joined session with Louise Harders, the Product Manager for Windows in Denmark. The main focus of our sessions was some of the new features in Windows 8.1 and what was changed from the previous version (Windows 8). But also how one on my customers deployed Windows 8 to 10.000 students and teachers at the Danish Municipality of Herning, and why we’re already planning to upgrade from Windows 8.0 to Windows 8.1.

It was truly a great week, with lots of great feedback, questions and networking with customers, partners and Microsoft. Thank you all for making this a great week.

If you want to learn more about this customer case and all the benefits they got from deploying Windows 8, you can read all about it right here:
