System Center 2012 R2 components are now fully supported on the newly released updates for Windows Server 2012 R2 (KB2919355). The update can be applied to the latest version of System Center 2012 R2. The CU1 update for SCCM 2012 R2 is not required but highly recommended. The Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2012 R2 and Windows RT 8.1 Update has been released on MSDN, and will be avalible to all users from Windows Update next week. And finaly Microsoft has fixed what Windows 8 should have been from the start. This is truly a great update that improves the user experience when using Windows on a desktop without touch. Today I had to make a new ConfigMgr application for an “old” version of Microsoft Office. I almost forgot how to customize this version of Office, so I just used my normal Office 2013 deployment guide, with the default settings I normally recommend for office 2010 and 2013.
