"answer_to_life_the_universe_and_everything = 42".

Update:

Og det rigtige svar er…

Microsoft Deployment Toolkit” (MDT).

Again this year Microsoft TechNet Denmark is playing Santa. On each weekday in December, you can test your knowledge in a daily quiz for Danish IT Professionals, and I’ve got the honor to host a few of those questions.

Every morning (on weekdays) at 9 am (+1 GMT) during December, Bjarne Dollerup will introduce one of the Danish MVP’s or TechNet Influencer on his blog, and share a link to a blog, where you’ll find the question of the day. All you need to do, to win the prize, is to be the first to the answer the question, and send it to the mail address specified right below the question. Answers to all questions should be available on the TechNet website.

The first to send the correct answer to the mail address specified in the blog post, will win one of the great “geek” prizes sponsored by Microsoft, so don’t forget to let us know how to get in touch with you, and where we should send the prize if you win…

The quiz does not start until it has been publicly announced by Bjarne, so no need to start sending mails until it’s been announced…

Merry Christmas!

Today’s question is about DirectAccess, and with a little help from Google Bing.com, most of you guys, should be able to answer this question… Smile

Today’s Question:

If a DirectAccess client fails to connect to the DirectAccess Server, what is the command (Client Side) to troubleshoot certificate problems (See last error code) for the IP-HTTPS based connection?

Today’s Question:

Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) 2010 Update 1 is the newest version of Microsoft Deployment Toolkit, a Solution Accelerator for operating system and application deployment.

A new User-Driven Installation (UDI) deployment method that utilizes System Center Configuration Manager was added in this latest release of the product. UDI lets end users initiate and customize an OS deployment on their PCs, via an easy-to-use wizard. What was the codename of this User Driven Installation feature during the beta?

Merry Christmas…

The snow is still falling around our little country, and x-mas is getting closer. Each day in December, you can test your knowledge in a daily quiz for Danish IT Professionals, and I’ve got the honor to host today’s question.

If you think you know the answer, send it to ronni.pedersen@eg.dk, after Bjarne Dollerup has announced the question on his Blog or on Twitter (@ bdollerup).

Today’s question is about BitLocker, and most IT Professionals it should be able to answer this question, or find the answer by searching Microsoft TechNet.

The Question:

In Windows 7 BitLocker supports two levels of cipher strength for BitLocker: 128-bit and 256-bit. Both use the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) to perform encryption. In addition, BitLocker supports a Diffuser algorithm to help protect against ciphertext manipulation attacks.

What is the default encryption when you enable BitLocker in Windows 7?

Update: We have a winner….

Merry X-Mas…
